MANICURE MONDAYS | NAIL CARE - FUNGAL INFECTION TREATMENT

Hello!

Slightly different take on Manicure Mondays this week....

One of the most annoying things to ever happen to your nails is a fungal infection. They come out of nowhere and can linger for months. I rarely get these, infact I never knew about nail fungal infections until I got my first personal encounter, mid-last year.

It was actually brought to my attention by my pedicurist. She advised I purchase some fungal treatment, which she said was readily available and easy to find out here.

So off I went to buy my fungal nail treatment and ended up buying 3 different ones over the space of 3 months. How did this happen? They just were not working. I purchased one, followed the instructions by applying it twice a day, morning and evening, and after a month wouldn't notice any improvement and I'd move on to trying another. This went on for 3 months, and all three failed.  I was just getting frustrated with it. All my pedicurist could say was "It will heal, these things take a long time to clear". And I'm like how long? A lifetime?

One day during a random browse around Prince Ebeano Supermarket, looking for yet another fungal treatment to try out,  I got distracted by this cabinet that was solely dedicated to Dr. Organic Bioactive Skincare products. I decided to check out what they had on of offer and I saw this fungal treatment. It's packed and sealed in  nice cardboard packaging, which was comforting as all the other treatments I'd bought prior had not been sealed. Infact I noticed on the display that some were discolored and all the sales attendant could tell me was that "Maybe someone had  applied it to their nails" :o ...

Anyways, I followed the directions for a week and began to notice a substantial difference, and within 2 weeks, the infection had cleared. But I still carried on applying it for weeks after. Fungal infections are known to come back if not treated properly, so please make sure you carry-on using this for 2-3weeks, even after you've noticed the infection clear.

You have to be very consistent with the application (twice a day) and continue using it for a few weeks after it clears up. This worked for me and hopefully will work for you guys as well.
